Dreams last for so long, even after you´re gone

It´s ten after eleven here in Northern Spain. Looks like it´s gonna hit 80 today. I watched the surfers outside my hotel window and it looks like everybody here is a shortboarder. Oh well. I can´t seem to find a place to rend a board, anyway. Plus, I´m so spoiled by Hawaii, and if the water isn´t at least 70 degrees i can´t bear to get in. I´ve officially lost count of all the croissants, cheeses, and glasses of red wine I´ve had on the trip. France was so fantastic! All the locals were really nice to us (contrary to the stereotype) and most were amused by my really terrible attempt at their language. San Sebastian, Spain has also been great. This is a beach town and there´s a ton of people always out and about into the wee hours of the night. I have to say that the food situation has been challenging. You can´t exactly be low carb in Europe, as bread is as prevalent as Catholic churches here. I never thought I´d say this, but I´m officially sick of bread. Anyway, I´m going to get my fill of sun and tapas today ´cause tomorrow we´re off to Haro, Spain, to the town bearing my last name!
